Bandung Flood

          Last Friday, there was flood in Bandung. The water reached 1.8 meters, luckily it has decreased to 50 cm today. There were 1882 citizens listed that were evacuated. There were 20 points of evacuation. Most of them stayed in public places such as schools, sports field and other public places. The water level in Kampung Leuwi even reached more than 2 meters. The water has soaked 1644 houses.
         During the flood, I was also going home. It took me 2 hours just to go home. Usually it only takes around 15 minutes to get home from school.

          Last school holiday, I went to New Zealand. I stayed in New Zealand from 3 July to 13 July.

I finished packing and prepare to go to Jakarta. Then we went to Jakarta. We went too early, we arrived at the airport at 2:30 p.m. while our flight is at 8 o'clock. So we waited until around 7 o'clock because the gate opens at 7 o'clock. Then we went to the gate and waited until its our turn to go in the aircraft. The plane took off quite late, it took off at around 8:45. The flight was to Sydney, Australia and we will take our flight to New Zealand in Sydney. The flight took about 7-8 hours.

At around 6 o'clock (Sydney time), we landed in Sydney airport and the view from the airplane was beautiful.

Then we waited for about 3 hours in Sydney airport. Actually,it's more than 3 hours because the flight was delayed. Then we continued our flight. Our flight was to Christchurch. After about 3 hours of flight, we arrived at Christchurch, New Zealand. When we arrived at the airport, we went to immigration and took our luggages. My dad's luggage was opened because he brought 20 indomies. Then we went to the car rental station and took the key.Then we went to the hotel.

We woke up and then get ready to check out. Then we had breakfast at a restaurant, I had fish chips. Then we head to Lake Tekapo. We stayed at a lodge and we can see the view of Mount Cook and the lake from the lodge. Then we spent the rest of the day in the lodge and we cooked our food for dinner. We went to a supermarket nearby. Then we bought a bunch of food and cooked it.

We woke up and ate breakfast. We got ready and packed our things because we want to check out of the lodge. Then we went on a road trip to Mount cook and then to Queenstown. The journey to Mount Cook took about 3 hours. When we arrived, we took pictures. Mount is actually a bunch of mountains but we took pictures on this one because it has snow.

After taking pictures, we continued our journey to Queenstown. The journey took around 4 hours. When we arrived, we checked in the serviced apartment. Then we looked for a restaurant to eat dinner. We went for Thai. The food tastes so good and it has a good rating in google and that is why we chose that restaurant. Then we visited my auntie, uncle and my cousins because they are also having a vacation to New Zealand too. Unfortunately, it's their last day there.

We woke and got ready. Then we went to a famous burger restaurant called 'Ferg Burger'. The que was so long. Then we searched for a spot to eat. The burger tastes really good the fries was also very good. Then we walked around the town hall. We also booked a ride called 'Shotover Jet'. Then we booked for dinner in a famous Italian restaurant called ' Bella CuCina'. Then we waited for our time to eat dinner. Then we went to Bella CuCina when it's already time. We ordered an appetiser (some kind of bread), spaghetti bolognese, fettucini carbonara and some kind of salmon. The bread and fettucini taste so good but I'm not really satisfied on the other dishes. Then we went back to the serviced apartment.

We woke up and got ready. Then we had Ferg's Burger again for breakfast. Then we continued the journey. By the way we are going to Milford Sound. The journey took about 4 hours. Along the journey, we saw a lot of beautiful scenery. When we arrived, we parked the car and went inside to book for a cruise ride. Then we went into the small cruise and saw the mountains,waterfalls and and beautiful view.

After we ride the small cruise, we went back and drive back to Queenstown. When we arrived at Queenstown, we wen to the supermarket and bought food and cooked it for dinner.

We woke up and got ready and ate breakfast. Then we checked out of the serviced apartment. Then we went to the nicer serviced apartment called 'The Rees'. We only dropped our things. Then we went to the place where we booked the Shotover Jet. We waited for the bus to pick us up and go to the river where we will ride the ride. When we arrived, I feel scared because i don't like rides that goes fast. Then we put the safety thing and seat on the jet boat. Then the ride turned out to be very fun and I wanted to ride it again. But, the weather is cold and as the jet boat moves, the cold air hits our face and it is really cold and my ears are cold and freezing, like literally, my ears are so red and it is quite hard. But overall the ride was really fun. Then we went to the exit and bought the photo they took while we were riding the jet boat.

Then we ride the bus that goes back to the place where we booked the ride. Then we went to Ferg's Burger again because it was near and my mom really likes it. Then me and my brother went to a famous steak restaurant and booked for 4 people and we got only at 9 p.m.. Then we went to the nice serviced apartment. The place was really nice and we can heat the bathroom floor. Then everyone immediately slept except for me because i just can't. Then After we all woke up we got ready and went to the famous steak restaurant. The restaurant was called 'Flame'. The food was good but the waitress sucks to be honest because she spilled the water and instead of using her napkin, she used ours and we ordered lamb but it didn't came after a long time, so we asked her and she said she didn't hear us ordering it. But the food was great. Then we went back to the serviced apartment and slept.

We woke up and had breakfast. Then we got ready. Then we went to Skyline Gondola. We will ride a gondola until the top of a mountain. I am scared of heights so this is bad news for me. Then we ride the gondola and reached the top and there were some rides and restaurants. Me and my brother ride a ride called 'Luge' which is some kind of car ride and there's a track for it.

Then we bought some stuffs there such as magnets for the fridge and postcards. Then we went to the gondola that goes down. Then when we reached down, we went to go to the Thai restaurant but it was closed so we decided to eat KFC. Then we went back to the serviced apartments and dropped my parents because they were so tired. So me and my brother went shopping. My brother bought 2 caps and I bought a cap and a pair of sandals. Then I bought a burger from Ferg's Burger for my mom so that she's happy and my brother bought gelato ice cream from a gelato ice cream shop  which belongs to Ferg's wife. Then we went back tp the serviced apartment and gave the burger to my mom and we all took a rest. Then we went to the supermarket to buy food. Then we went back to the serviced apartment and cooked the food for dinner. Then we slept.

We woke up, got ready and ate breakfast. We packed our things to check out. I'm quite sad because Queenstown is one of the best cities we went to in New Zealand. First, we went to Ferg's Burger again for the last time also for lunch.Then we ride the car to go to Christchurch which is more than 500 km in distance. The journey took about 7 hours. Along the journey, we saw some snow Then we arrived at the hotel which is really close to the airport. In fact, it is across the airport. Then we immediately rest. But me and my brother can't sleep so we decided to stay up until the next morning.

Wednesday, 13 July 

We got ready and packed our bags. Our flight is really early so we went to the airport early. Then we took the flight to Sydney. The flight was really bad and probably one of my worst flight. The plane went up and down and up and down. hone it goes down, it goes down in a fast motion as if it fell but as soon as we reached the top everything went back to normal. Then we stayed in Sydney airport for 6 hours. Actually 7 because the flight was delayed due to bad weather. Then we took the flight and arrived in Jakarta at night and we immediately went back to Banding. When we reached Bandung I immediately went to my dog and he is really happy. Unfortunately he became sick and thin.

          Iggy Azalea was born in Sydney, Australia in June 7 1990. Sydney is a beautiful city. Unfortunately, her parents moved to Mullumbimby, New South Wales when Iggy was still a baby. Mullumbimby is small Australian town with only 3000 inhabitants. Iggy's mother was a hotels cleaner and her father was a painter and comic artist. Iggy hated school uniforms and never joined her classmates. She had no friends and was teased for her homemade outfits. Iggy dreamed to go somewhere because she felt herself like a foreigner in her very own country. When Iggy visited Los Angeles during her 13 teenage years, she met a hip hop music for the first time and realised what she is going to be. A rapper. She started to listen to Tupac and Missy Elliot. Three Mountain Climbers

          Three climbers decided to climb Mount Everest as it is the only major mountain in the world they haven't climbed. They begin their track up the mountain but don't tell anyone they are going as they know it is dangerous. In the middle of their way, one climber falls. Fortunately, he is saved from plummeting to his death by a ledge. But he has broken his leg. He was treated by first aid kit that they have. The three climbers spend an uncomfortable night on the mountain. The next morning, two climbers decided to make a signal catch helicopter's attention. One climber has a flare and all the three are rescued. The injured man was taken to hospital immediately after rescue.

          I decided to go to New York City because I want to go to America since a very long time. New York is a busy city. There are a lot people there so I won't feel lonely. New York has more than 18000 restaurants and that is another reason why I want to go to New York. I want to try food in New York because I love to eat. Besides that is because New York is a fashionable, exciting and entertaining city. I like to see entertainment, because it makes me happy. I also want to go to the Chinatown because I love Chinese food. There are also a lot of pop concerts in New York and I really like pop cultures. These are the reasons why I decided to go to New York.

The Little Red Riding Hood

          Little Red Riding Hood was picking apples from the forest for her grandmother. She put all her apples in a basket. Her basket was full of apples. She only picked the red and juicy apples, that was why her apples tasted good. Her grandmother really liked apples that she picked, Little Red Riding Hood knew her grandmother really loved it. That was why she picked apples again.

          On her way to her way to her grandmother's house, she saw a big wolf. The big wolf ask Little Red Riding Hood where she was going. Little Red Riding Hood told the wolf that she was going to her grandmother's house. Then, the wolf ran away. Little Red Riding Hood continued walking. Little Red Riding Hood didn't know that the wolf is actually running to her grandmother's house. When the wolf reached her grandmother's house, he locked Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother in the closet and taped her mouth. He wore Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother's clothes and laid on the bed.

          Then she reached her grandmother's house. She went into her grandmother's room , she was shocked when she saw her grandmother is so big. She then asked her why her eyes are so big. Grandmother (the wolf) answered to see you clearer. She also asked why she has big ears. Grandmother (the wolf) answered to hear her clearer. She asked why she has big teeth. the wolf answered to eat you easier. Little Red Riding Hood immediately screamed for help. Luckily, there was a good man who was willing to help Red Riding Hood. The good man punched the big wolf and the big wolf run away and never came back. The good man opened the closet. Her grandmother immediately hugged her. They lived happily and peacefully.

          A few days later, Red Riding Hood was picking apples  and then a man wanted to taste her apples. He really liked it and suggested her to sell that she would sell those apples and her grandmother agreed. So she sell those apples and finally she was able to build a shop and there are more people buying her apples so she become rich and bought a big house. Little Red Riding Hood lived in that big house with her grandmother. They lived even happier and more peacefully.

          The school is located at Tjokroaminoto Street number 157 Bandung, West Java. If you or your parents want to ask or send anything, here is SMPK1's phone phone number: +62226013181 and SMPK1's fax: +62226010781. School starts at 6:30 am., don't be late or else you will punishment. School ends usually at 1:50 p.m. SMPK1 has 3 science labs, dance room, basketball court, computer lab, DCP lab and many more. Our school has 3 programs: Dual Certificate Program (DCP), Bilingual and regular. At break time you can go to the canteen and buy food or drinks there. There are a lot of stalls in the canteen. You should not go outside the school during break time. There are two break times, 9:10 a.m. and 12:10 p.m.. You must not speak bad words or disrespect anybody in school. You must wear the complete uniform according to the day you're wearing it. You must also bring student's organiser and identity card everyday. You're probably new here so you must fill in the student organiser' details and ask for your parent's signature, your signature and the principal's signature. When you are a seven grader, you join pramuka every Friday and you must wear the pramuka uniform. You must join at least one extrakulikuler and must stay back either Thursday or Friday to join it.           Last Saturday(20/2/2016),my friends form 7A except for Valencia because she was sick and I along with Ma'am Melina, Ma'am Liani and Ma'am Hartati went to Singapore.So here is how the trip goes.

Day 1 (20 February 2016, Saturday)

ayI woke up at 5 a.m. and took a bath and get ready. Then I ate my breakfast. Then me and my family prayed and my dad and I went to the airport. Then my dad went home and my friends and teachers and I checked in. While others went to the boarding room, me and my other friends bought coffee at Starbucks that is available at the airport. Then we went to the boarding room and we took the flight ad arrived at Singapore. Then we walked around the airport while waiting for the bus. After about an hour, we went to the hostel by bus. After putting our things in the hostel, we went to Science Centre. But before we went there, we ate at McDonalds first. Then we went to the Science Centre and walked around there until 6 p.m.. Then we went to a mall called Cube which is not far from there. I ate lunch at Nando's. Then I payed for a sofa massage for 8 minutes and then we 

walked around there for a longer time then we went home and sleep.

Day 2 (21 February 2016, Sunday)

We woke at 6 a.m., took bath and get ready. Then we had breakfast downstairs at the cafeteria. Then we went to Church that is in a hotel. In the hotel, we were given food and drink. After going to Church, we went to Universal Studios Singapore. I only ride a little rides because I don't like those kind of stuff and I only ride the lame rides only. Then we went to Vivo City to eat lunch. I bought food and took it home as because the time given at Vivo City is very short. Then we went home and sleep.

Day 3 (22 February 2016, Monday)

We woke up at 5 a.m. because from Monday to Thursday, we must go to school in Singapore. The school is called Anderson Secondary School. It is a quite well-known school in Singapore. After school we went back to our hostel. After that, we were supposed to go to Orchard but due to the conditions, teachers decided that we were just going to go to Chinatown. After going to the Chinatown, we went to Ang Mo Kio Hub, a mall near our hostel. We had dinner there. Then we went back to our hostel and sleep.

We woke up at 5 a.m., took a bath and get ready. Then we went downstairs to eat our breakfast. Then we went to school. After school we went back to our hostel and change clothes and get ready. then we took the met and bus to go to Marina Barrage. Then we went to Marina By The Bay. then we went to Ang mo Kio Hub to have dinner. Then we went back to ur hostel and sleep.

Day 5  (24 February 2016, Wednesday)

We woke up at 5 a.m. again, as usual, took a bath and get ready. Then we ate breakfast downstairs and went to school. After school we went back to the hostel and change clothes. Then we went to Bugis by MRT. While we were in Bugis, we went to Bugis Junction and Bugis+. Then we went back to our hostel and sleep.

Day 6 (25 February 2016, Thursday)

We woke up at 5 a.m. and again we took a bath and get ready then we ate breakfast downstairs in the cafeteria. Then we went to school. After school we went back to our hostel and change clothes. Then we went to Orchard. Today, we were allowed to stay at Orchard longer than the duration we usually play at a certain place.

Day 7 (26 February 2016, Friday)

Today is probably the saddest day of the trip because we are returning to Bandung today. We woke uo not as early as we usully woke up. We woke up at 7 a.m., took a bath and get ready. Then we cleaned our rooms. By the way I am one room with Darren. Then we went downstairs to eat breakfast then we took our luggage and put it in the bus. Then we went to the airport. Then we took the flight and arrived at Bandung around 12 o'clock. Then we went home.

Last Tuesday, KPI (Kebaktian Penyegaran Iman) was held. It was held at Anugerah Church. We must be there by 7:30 a.m. and will start at 8:00 a.m.. We sang Church songs and then we started the preaching after singing Church songs. there were singers, band and dancers. The Preacher told us about her life back then. She used to live a poor family and couldn't even afford to pay rent or even buy food. Their electricity used to be cut off due to not paying rent. One time she was in school and she and her brother haven't ate yet. She and her brother were given food and they were shivering. While shivering, she drpooed her food and the cleaning service threw the food into the dust bin and she took the food from the dust bin and ate it. It was really sad to hear. One day her friend introduced her to Christian Religion and her friend always reminds her to pray or read the Holy Bible. She encourages us to appreciate what we have. Then she prayed for us and ask us to apologise to people we have talked behind and be friends with them. Then we sing songs again and end the event. As we go out, we took bookmarks that the other seventh grader form other classes have made. Then we went home.

The Gift

   John is a smart, kind and patient person. He lives in a simple family. His family is not rich, but enough for surviving in this world. Since he was a child he loves to read books about Christmas in the library. Since he was a child all he ever wanted is a drone, but he knew that his parents couldn't afford to buy it. John believes that Santa Claus exists. Since he was a child he always writes letter to Santa Claus asking for a drone. Every year he waited patiently, but the drone never came. He never feels upset and he still live a normal life. He goes to school every weekdays and goes to Church every Sundays.

          One day, he dreamt about Christmas while he was sleeping. He asked Santa Claus for a drone in that dream. Each day he has the same dream. He starts to believe that Santa Claus will give him the drone he wanted. His parents told him that Santa Claus does not exist. He never listens to his parents. Days after days he waited until the day before Christmas.Then he wrote a letter to Santa Claus.

          "Today is Christmas!" John shouted. His parents feel happy. His parents said sorry because they can't afford to give him a drone. John still feels happy and believes that Santa Claus will give him a drone. He waited all day but Santa Claus never came.

          Since that day he starts to not believe any more about Santa Claus or Christmas. Days after days went by. Suddenly he found a message on his wall. The message said that why did John stop believing in Santa Claus. After that day he starts to believe again. He wrote a letter to Santa Claus asking for a drone. Then the next day he found a paper on his table that told him that said "Yes John, I will give you drone.". One day his father's business is really going up. His dad became rich.

          Today is Christmas his parents secretly bought a drone for John. That day his parents surprised him with a drone. John Immediately hugged his parents, he saw Santa Claus. Santa Claus winked at John, John felt surprised and happy.

        On Sunday night (7/2/16),me and my family went to my grandma's house.This grandma is my mom's mom.When I arrived there, I greeted everyone. First, we had dinner together and talked with each other. There was one specific activity that was fun and to be honest quite stupid and you'll find out why it's stupid soon. That activity was when my uncle challenged me and my two other cousins that are quite the same age as me to drink beer and whoever finishes the beer fastest wins.The first round, I did quite great at the first few minutes but suddenly my other cousin drinks it really fast and he won and actually I was really close to winning. He kinda feel bad at his stomach but I think it's worth it because he received 250 thousand rupiah so he rests and my uncle challenges us again and my other two cousins gave up so I'm the only one left. So my uncle challenges me to drink the second bottle of beer for under two minutes. I was able to do that and this is the stupid part, when I finished the beer i threw up on the table because i drank and eat to much and I went to the garden to throw up even more but what's worth it is that I got 400 thousand rupiah. After that I ate cherries because my mom said it could make me feel better. Then we continued to the most waited activity which is giving angpaos. I am the last one in the line to get angpao. I did a mistake while I was saying the words before getting angpaos and I feel embarrassed. Then we took a picture together and we talked to each other again. Then we all went home.

The next day, me and my family went to Tegal to visit my other grandma. The journey took about three hours and it's faster than the usual time to get there because we used the new highway. When we arrived there, we picked my grandma to go to the cemetery. We went to my grandpa's cemetery area and threw flowers on them. Then we went back to my grandma's house and ate lunch. Then we talked to each other for quite a long time. Then we went home and when we went home it rained quite heavily. Our journey home is longer due to the time we went home and the repairing of the road and the journey took four and a half hour. Once we arrived home, I took a bath and ate dinner and then sleep. Sadly we don't took any picture while we were there.

My Last Holiday

  My Last Holiday

Last holiday I went to Singapore.When I arrived in Singapore,I was really happy and excited.The airport in Singapore is really nice.When I stepped out of the airport,I was amazed by the beautiful view.The air is really fresh and the environment is really clean.Singapore is way more advanced than Indonesia.Singapore is also more organised than Indonesia.The people in Singapore are also nice,when I arrived in the apartment,I put all of my things there and we went to a mall and we went to a famous ramen noodle restaurant.The ramen taste really good.The ramen was quite pricy but I think the taste is worth the price.Then I continued walking around the mall.While I was walking,I bought popcorn and bubble tea.

The next day,i walked around Orchard Street.While I was walking,I bought ice cream from the ice cream stand i saw.Then i went into a mall and search for the food court.Then I bought satay and rice.Then i went shopping in that mall.Then I had dinner in a Chinese restaurant.

The next day,I went to a mall again and ate in a Japanese restaurant then we walked around the mall and bought things to bring to Banding for our family.We had dinner in the same Chinese restaurant as yesterday.When we arrived in the apartment,we packed all our stuffs because tomorrow we are going back to Indonesia.
The next day,we woke up quite early because we have a quite early flight.We went to the airport and took our flight back to Indonesia.
